The Local Ministry Team (LMT) is effectively a ‘think tank ‘ to prayerfully consider benefice-wide initiatives and future opportunities and priorities. It focuses on the ‘big picture’ rather than the nitty-gritty of the daily running of the benefice. It is made up of the Rector and Associate Minister Philppa Donald, together with six lay people from across the benefice (Ian Donald, Edmund McClure, Chris Skepper, Jean Smith, Simon Trapnell and Carolyn Wright).
Usually the LMT meets every month. The biggest part of the LMT’s work over the past 18 months has been coordinating the development, with our congregations, of our new benefice vision and then driving it forward. As this begins to be put into practice, the LMT will help oversee and steer the progress being made and assess the impact on helping us live out our vision values.
