Our church life is not limited simply to Sundays and our Morning Prayer gatherings each Tuesday and Thursday!
There are a number of groups that regularly meet across the benefice. They include:
Breakfasts On the first Saturday of each month men’s and women’s breakfasts are held (8.30am – 10.00am). Venues vary from month to month moving from one home to another. Locations and booking details are listed on our What’s On diary.
Film Club Every other month Sandhurst church opens its doors for a film night. See our What’s On diary.
Friendly Fridays On the first Friday of each month a coffee morning, open to all and run by the benefice, meets from 10.30am- 12.00pm. No need to book -just come! It meets at Down Hatherley Village Hall, but occasionally moves to a different venue. See our What’s On diary.
Home Groups Four home groups regularly meet across the benefice, some started as a result of our 2017 alpha course. They all provide an opportunity to meet together and firm up friendships, and to learn and discuss together every aspect of our Christian faith. See latest pew sheet for the next gatherings. (David Godwin’s monthly group next meets on June 27th at 2pm at Chris and Margartet Brind’s house).
Messy Church Messy Church is a time for families of all ages to come along and enjoy making things around a theme from the Bible. We hear a story, sing a song and enjoy a meal together. Messy Church meets in churches and village halls around the Benefice.
