Our benefice is committed to build upon our current relationships and to love, serve and grow new ones in our communities, the diocese and the world. As well as our own church groups and involvement in local community groups, to help us put our faith in action we are engaged with a wide range of initiatives and organisations, including:

The Arts
An inspiring example of a benefice-wide arts initiative was, in the run-up to Easter 2017, the displaying in all our churches of dramatic and thought-provoking original artwork by Jonathon Brown – stations of the Cross as from the eyes of Jesus.  People made a pilgrimage from one church to another tracing the Easter story.  Click here to see images and to find out more. A book was produced with short reflections by Rev Philippa Donald.

In another project Canon David Godwin, one of our Associate Ministers, was one of 37 people selected to have their portrait painted by Russell Haines as part of his ‘Faith’ project which was first shown at Gloucester Cathedral. Click here to see a video about the project.
