We value …
our worshipping traditions, history and buildings, whilst also embracing new ways of being church.
Our vision is …
to ensure that our services are accessible to all, and to offer a variety of worship that enables everyone to engage with God.
Christians often differ on the most appropriate or authentic way to praise God. Many forms of praise are mentioned in the Bible, among them singing, standing in honour, kneeling, dancing, making a joyful noise, testifying, playing musical instruments and raising hands. The best style of worship is the one that most authentically represents your love for God, based on the background and personality God has given you. We are all different, there is no “one-size fits all”.
Here at the Seven Towers we offer
- a weekly traditional Holy Communion service at 9.30am, at a different church each week.
What you can expect at this service: The service will last between 50-60 minutes, with 4 hymns or songs, and communion using Common Worship. On the third Sunday, the style is more informal.
- services of Evening Prayer at a different church each week throughout the month, led by members of our congregations.
- a Benefice worship team, which plans services and events throughout the year.
- weekday Morning Prayer on Tuesday at 9.00am, at a different church in the Benefice each month.
- Informal worship on the first Sunday of the month, at 11.00am, (following the service of Holy Communion at 9.30am) eg Cafe church.
- Services at all the major Christian Festivals throughout the year – Harvest, Remembrance, Christmas etc
