We value …
belonging to a church family who love and support each other, both spiritually and practically.

Our vision is …
to encourage the sense of belonging to the church family and to encourage giving and receiving care.

Jesus called us to look out for, and after, each other. Within our Benefice, we have a pastoral team which includes clergy and a representative from each of our parishes. These reps are the ‘eyes and ears’ out around the villages, both supporting those who need help, and drawing in others to help as well. They are in regular touch with the clergy, so they too can visit if that is required.

A friendly visit for a cup of tea and chat, and sometimes a prayer or home communion can be such a blessing to those who are housebound, lonely or unwell.

Our pastoral team have all had lay training, safeguarding training, and DBS checks.

Outreach to our community comes in many forms – explore serve our community.

Would you like to find out more about our Pastoral work in the benefice? Just ask Rev. Philippa or one of the team!

If you have a pastoral heart and a love for God’s people and willingness to develop pastoral skills, we’d love to hear from you.
